Ru-Ba-ru

Kuch labe-e-sagar mai peeyun, kuch uski aankhon ke jaam pee jaaun;
Kuch uske raaz mai sunoon, kuch apni daastan bayaan kar jaaun;
Pyaas baaki na reh jaaye koi, saaki se yuun ru-ba-ru ho jaaun;
Par kambakhat is sheher me maykhana ek ho to mai bataaun!!!

UDAAN

Udne ke liye mahaj do pankh hi kafi nahi hai;
meri udano ke liye to
asmaan bhi kaafi nahi hai.

Jeet to lun mai apni har ek jung,
par mujhse ladne ki himmat
kisi dushman me baaki nahi hai.
meri udano ke liye to
asmaan bhi kaafi nahi hai.

Kar lun mukaam rah-e-manjil par kahin,
kamyabi ke is safar pe
neend mujhe ab aati nahi hai.
meri udano ke liye to
asmaan bhi kaafi nahi hai.

Paa to lun mai sare jahan ko ek din,
par mere in iradon pe
khuda abhi razi nahi hai.
meri udano ke liye to
asmaan bhi kaafi nahi hai.

Guzaar dun saari zindagi behoshi me bhi,
par ta-umr mujhe pila sake
aisa koi saki nahin hai.
meri udano ke liye to
asmaan bhi kaafi nahi hai.

Udne ke liye mahaj do pankh hi kafi nahi hai...

Losing Successfully.

I've struggled for existence,
And battled for my identity;

I've been fighting for power,
to establish my superiority;

I've realized all my dreams and
conquered my every adversity;

Now when I account for my success,
I've come to face this reality-

While I was winning every game;
I've kept losing my Humanity.

I am..

Not another drop in the deep ocean,
But am a cyclone - out in motion;

Not just a grain in the desert sand,
But a whirlwind- u cannot withstand;

Not another star in the blue sky,
But am a sun - see me eye to eye!

New lessons - II

For all those who criticised me for criticizing the tortoise,and for those who didn't, here's another lesson from the same story(tortoise and hare).

The tortoise, inspite of being aware that the hare was much faster than him, did compete. He dared!

Lesson #3: Dare to take on any one, any given day. Your might not win, but you will never regret giving it a shot.

'Like the brave tortoise, learn to DARE;
you might be up against another bloody HARE.'

(couldnt stop myself from adding these lines) :D

Not Yet!

Been to a million places,
still so much left.

I think I've done it all,
but not all of that.

So much to my achievements,
but a lot to regret.

It seems that I am done,
But may be, NOT YET!

Same story, New lessons!

We all for sure know the good ol' story of the tortoise and the lazy hare. Also the lesson that we have been taught
'Slow and Steady wins the race.' Does he??

I've never quite agreed to this lesson. If you are f***ing slow (doesnt matter how steady you may be) you never deserve to win the race! Simply for one reason -YOU ARE BLOODY SLOW!
It was sheer luck of the bloody tortoise that he won just because the hare slept on his way to the finish line. Now how often do you expect that to happen???

The story, nonetheless does have some lessons to be learnt.

Lesson#1: If you are slow, pray to your good Lord that your bloody opponent is as big a jerk as the hare. (the odds of which may vary from one in a million to say a zillion). Or else better be fast!

Lesson#2- If you are fast, you better be steady. Never get complacent with your lead and never ever give up on it.

Slow and steady doesnt deserve to win,
Fast and steady always does. And by MILES!!
